Advocacy Requests Postponement of the FRS Proposed Rule on Regulation Z: Truth in Lending Pertaining to Mortgage Disclosures and Other Issues

On December 23, 2010, the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy
(Advocacy) submitted comments on the Board of Governors for the Federal Reserve's (Board) proposed regulation on Regulation Z; Docket No R-1390 Truth in Lending and Regulation Z; Docket No R-1393 Truth in Lending. The proposed rule for Docket No. R-1390 addresses issues concerning open-end and closed-end loans secured by the consumer's principal dwelling.  The proposed rule for Docket No. R-1393 will  amend the provisions that apply to open end credit plans, in order to implement provisions of the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009.
