In Less Than 12 Months"
Hi Korsaan,
Welcome to Part 4 of your email course.

Korsaan,
Having spent the last few days researching the product
sites, now it's time to look at getting it ready to sell.
First, you need to think about creating a USP:
Unique Selling Point.
This can be fairly straightforward with a PLR product
as you can edit the content as you wish, even merge
with another product to create a truly unique product.
If you have MRR or RR products then it's best to create
a package eg. an ebook that explains how to master
the perfect golf swing along with some videos about
putting.
The key is to make sure that the products compliment
each other.
Next, you need to set your price. Do some research by
visiting sites like www.clickbank.com and check out the
market place. You can get some great ideas as to what
other marketers are selling similar products for.
You now need to create a 'squeeze page'. This is when
someone lands on your page and you are offering them
something for free in exchange for their email address.
Remember, you are initially trying to build up a list of
prospects that you can sell to later. So you can offer
a f.r.e.e ebook, f.r.e.e report or even a snippet from
your product like how best to hold a golf club if you're
approaching the green from 100 yards.
You then need to set up an autoresponder account with
either www.aweber.com or www.getresponse.com.
Personally I prefer aweber. You can then set up 5-6
emails to go out to your prospect following registration.
You can actually send out as many as you want and it
only costs $19pm if you have less than 500 subscribers.
This is great value and an excellent example of you being
able to leverage your time rather than personally respond to
everyone.
Once prospect has left email address on your squeeze page
then they should be taken through to your sales letter. Creating
this letter. This is a particularly challenging part of the process
and really important to get right. I spent months of testing
trying to figure it out for myself.
One of the best resources that I found was from one of the
World's best Internet Marketers called Yanik Silver. He has
templates all laid out and so 95% of the letter is done for you.
It's great to use at first while getting started:
http://instantsalesletters.com/?56681
The cost is $39.97 so about £25 but will save you an enormous
amount of time.
Great, so now that all of that is set up you need to make sure
you have a way of getting paid by setting up your Payment
Processor. Go back to www.clickbank.com and set yourself
Up as a vendor. The cost is $50 but you will be able to then
sell your product through clickbank and others can start
promoting your product as well.
Clickbank has an easy to follow set up process. Just click on
the 'Sell Products' tab and follow the instructions.
Depending on how much money you have to invest in your
business will determine how much of everything so far you
do yourself. The other option you have is to outsource everything.
I would recommend that you go down this route eventually as you
get busier and the money starts coming in. You can literally
get professionals to set up your squeeze page, sales letter, do
your graphics, blog, websites etc for around $5-$10 per hour.
Go to either www.elance.com or www.guru.com.
All of the above strategies work and I still use them when launching
a new product, but even if you are looking at selling the best
product in the world and you've got an excellent professional
looking website, it's pointless if no one sees it.
In Part 5 I will talk you through different traffic strategies to
make sure that you are getting visitors.
Best,
Ricky
